Payment Methods

At X Shift Gearboxes, we not only strive to deliver top-tier gearboxes and motorsport components, but also provide secure and convenient payment options tailored to our customers' needs.

As a Czech-based company with international reach, we prefer to process all payments in euros (EUR). This ensures smooth transactions across borders and avoids unnecessary currency conversion issues.

We currently support the following verified and secure payment methods:

1. Bank Transfer (preferred method)

Standard payment by bank transfer is our main and preferred payment channel. After creating an order, you will receive billing details with the necessary information to make the transfer. This method is suitable for companies and individuals and is available in all countries.
 
Please always fill in the variable symbol (= advance invoice number), which is located in the upper right corner of the invoice.
 
Please note that transactions must be made in the currency stated on the invoice!
  • For customers from the Czech Republic, we issue an invoice in CZK, including VAT, to a Czech crown account as standard.
  • For customers from European Unit or outside EU, we we issue an invoice in EUR, without VAT, to an European account as standard.
If your invoice is in EUR, please make sure that the payment is made in EUR to our EUR account with “X Shift Gearboxes s.r.o.” as the beneficiary name. We ask that you use the SHA payment type, which means that the fees are split between the payer and the beneficiary.
 
We also accept payments in USD. For invoices issued in USD, payments can be made to our USD account, which provides greater convenience for our American customers and simplifies the payment process. If your invoice is in USD, please make sure that the payment is made in USD to our USD account.
 

2. Card Payment via GP Webpay

We offer the option of convenient online payment by credit card via the GP Webpay payment gateway. This service is safe, fast and suitable for those who prefer an immediate solution without the need for an interbank transfer. In some cases, this is the fastest payment option.
 
The payment link can be made in all the listed currencies: EUR (worldwide), USD (USA), CZK (Czech Republic).
 
Instructions for the GP Webpay payment gateway:
  • Payment by credit card can be made via the link that you will receive from the e-mail address gpwebpay@b2b.gpe.cz, which belongs to our banking portal.
  • After opening it, you will see that X Shift Gearboxes has created a PUSH payment with a number.
  • Below will be a link; clicking on it will open a card payment window where you can fill in your details and complete the payment.
  • After the process is complete, you should see a "green check mark".
  • A copy of the payment made will then be sent to XSHIFT.
The following cards are accepted: VISA, Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express.
 
Please note that our credit card payment fees are relatively high. Therefore, if you choose to pay by credit card, we will apply a shared fee of 1.5% of the total invoice amount, as our company usually pays 3% of the total amount in fees. This fee will be stated between the invoice items. The 3% fee is therefore divided so that X Shift Gearboxes pays 1.5%, and the other 1.5% is charged to the customer in the invoice.
 

3. Wise (formerly TransferWise) – Non-EU Customers Only

For customers outside the European Union, we offer payment via Wise, which is known for its low fees and favorable exchange rates. It is one of the other "convenient" options for international fund transfers, often with lower fees and faster processing times compared to traditional bank transfers.

4. Cash Payment – Exceptional Cases Only

Cash payment can only be arranged exceptionally and by prior arrangement. This option is reserved for specific situations (e.g. personal collection at the company's headquarters) and is not a common form of payment - even in the case of personal collection, we still prefer payment in advance using the methods described above. Upon agreement, we prefer payment in banknotes in Euros or Czech crowns (according to the currency issued on the invoice). The banknotes must be in undamaged condition.

 


VAT Information

X Shift Gearboxes s.r.o. is a registered VAT payer in the Czech Republic. Unless otherwise stated, all prices shown on our website are excluding VAT.

  • CZ Customers (without valid VAT ID): shipping/personal pickup
    For local Czech customers, who does not have a valid VAT number, we are required to add 21% Czech VAT to your invoice.  As a rule, invoices are issued in Czech currency.
  • CZ Customers (with valid VAT ID): shipping/personal pickup
    For local Czech customers, who provide a valid VAT number, we will issue invoices under the reverse charge mechanism, meaning no VAT will be added to invoice. As a rule, invoices are issued in Czech currency.

  • EU Customers (with valid VAT ID): shipping/personal pickup
    For customers within the European Union who provide a valid VAT number, we will issue invoices under the reverse charge mechanism, meaning no VAT will be added.

  • EU Customers (without VAT ID): shipping
    If you are based in the EU but do not provide a valid VAT number, we are required to add VAT to your invoice by standard rate according to customer's EU country. Individual VAT rates can be found here.

  • EU Customers (without VAT ID): personal pickup 
    If you are based in the EU but do not provide a valid VAT number. In the case of a personal pickup and a foreign person, we are required to add 21% Czech VAT to your invoice. 
  • Customers outside the EU: shipping/personal pickup
    For exports outside the European Union, we issue invoices without VAT, in accordance with export regulations. Customs duties are paid by the customer at the location where the goods are sent.
