If you’ve been following X Shift for a while, you already know that our focus has always been on what happens on the track. But this time, we shifted the focus inward — turning the cameras on ourselves.

Yes, that’s right: X Shift Gearboxes is making a brand-new company video, and it’s going to be unlike anything we’ve ever done before — for comparison, you can check out our previous Subaru and Toyota videos.

But here’s the catch — before you get to see the polished final cut, we wanted to let you in on a little secret: making this film has been a ride of its own!

Building the story

From the first brainstorming session, we knew this video had to be more than just machines and numbers. We wanted to capture the soul of X Shift:

the energy in our new headquarters,
the precision of our engineers,
the focus on the production floor,
and the passion that drives every one of us forward.

So we mapped out a journey: from the brand new building, through engineering and R&D, all the way to production and assembly — taking you inside the engine that powers X Shift.

What you didn’t see

Behind every scene, there were endless takes, lots of laughter, and the occasional “cut, let’s try that again.” Our lobby became a movie set, our conference room a stage for strategy, and the production floor a dynamic stage where the stars weren’t actors, but our very own people.
