Specification

The stronger Subaru conversion gears and shafts are designed to eliminate the weak points of the 6MT gearbox and therefore suitable for high torque transmission. The kit is made of high-strength steel according to the latest technological advances, making it capable of transmitting up to 1200 Nm of torque from the engine.

Also new is the possibility of changing the gear wheels, which expands the options if the rear differential ratio needs to be changed, or the gears wear out. Likewise, the input shaft can be replaced with a different type of center differential, or the output shaft in case of switching to the SHD spline version.

 For racing use with racing kits, straight-cut gears are recommended, for the Helical series or in conjunction with OEM conversion, helical-cut gearing is recommended. The assembly is the same as OEM drop gears, does not require special modifications and guarantees incomparably greater reliability. Last but not least, it also reduces service costs and save your money.

    • In case of replacing gears, we recommend always purchasing new one.

There are multiple options for different types of gearbox and center differential. All versions are available also with HELICAL gears.

Subaru TY856 2001–2005 with DCCD

  • 1,1:1 ratio (3,9:1 front differential; 3,54:1 rear differential) - customer swap

Subaru TY856 2006–2021 with DCCD

  • 1:1 ratio (3,9:1 front differential; 3,9:1 rear differential) - customer swap
  • 1,1:1 ratio (3,9:1 front differential; 3,54:1 rear differential) - factory standard for this model year range

Subaru TY856 2001–2009 with bevel differential with viscous coupling (NON DCCD)

  • 1:1 ratio (3,9:1 front differential; 3,9:1 rear differential) - factory STi 2001-2005 
  • 1,1:1 ratio (3,9:1 front differential; 3,54:1 rear differential) - factory Legacy spec.B 2006-2009
