Toyota Yaris CUP

Promoter X Shift Gearboxes in cooperation with Toyota Czech Republic opened the official Toyota Yaris CUP cup series at the first race, which is part of the Czech Rally Championship and was started at the beginning of April as part of the Wallachian Rally.
This year, the cup will take place within the framework of seven other domestic rally events. The next race will be April 21-23 Šumava Klatovy Rally.

The Toyota Yaris Cup is designed for GR Yaris racing cars according to international FIA homologation. The base model is the mass-produced Toyota GR Yaris, meeting the FIA homologation criteria for Group A. The basis is a four-wheel-drive car with a 1618 cc turbocharged engine developed on the basis of the Toyota GR Yaris, which is exclusively reserved for use in rally.
"It is a unique opportunity to compete in the domestic rally championship under financially affordable conditions," says the initiator of the company, František Macho, owner of the company X Shift Gearboxes, and thanks to this opportunity, we supply sequential gearboxes of our design and production for these cars.
A rider who owns a valid international license of the AČR grade ITC-R for the current year can become a participant in the Toyota Yaris Cup. In the final order, the crews will be evaluated according to the number of points achieved in the individual races of the series. In case of equality of points, the order will be determined according to the number of first, second, or subsequent places.
