Unique 5/6/7-speed sequential gearbox for Toyota GR Yaris, featuring the most advanced shifting system on the market, is the latest addition to the XSHIFT family of sequential gearboxes. Combined with durable forks and shifters, it offers maximum durability, reliability, and outperforms any sequential shift design in the world. It comes as a complete - "plug and play" - direct replacement for the OEM gearbox, including LSD differential, oil pump, sensors and bellhousing. This gearbox takes the race car far beyond a mere "funcar" - it gives the car serious racing performance and makes the GR Yaris a true racing weapon!

It is designed for GR YARIS series, that uses 1,6 L G16-E engine. The gearbox was developed based on the initiative in the world of rally, in which GR YARIS with GR-FOUR system made a name for itself as small, quick and very fast 4WD vehicle. The need for additional power that can't be transferred by original gearbox results in development of the first sequential gearbox for Toyota GR YARIS on the market.

Faster acceleration, higher reliability and endurance, low weight, quicker shifting and availability of various final drives – all together it sounds like a necessary coctail for the win! It offers direct substitution for original gearbox without the need of large adjustments.

Shifting and gear ratios

The gearbox is equipped with extremely fast and very reliable shifting mechanism with the latest system of double locking. Thanks to this it provides short, sharp and very smooth shifting experience within 30-40 ms in case of "flat shift" strategy. Mechanism incorporates undercut dogrings to ensure reliable lock of engaged gear with long lifespan. All gears and components of shifting mechanism are superfinished using special REM method and made with strict manufacturing processes.

TY-GR is available in 3 speed options and up to 6 various final drive ratios. Whether you need gearbox with short gear ratio or you build drag special attacking 300+ kph, we have solution for you!

  • 5 speed version: suitable for rally 
  • 6 speed version: for rally, circuit, time attack, hillclimb, drag or street (universal)

Accessories

Gearbox is equipped with powerful oil pump and sofisticated lubrication system that can be connected also with our billet transfer case. This feature leads to lower wear of parts and thus longer lifespan.

Together with the powerful Toyota GR Corolla sequential gearbox we can provide many performance accessories that helps you achieve top results on the track.

 

Design

Due to inovative design it is possible to use our gearbox with original input shaft, clutch and holders without any changes. Gearbox contains own design of bellhousing, thus the installation is very fast and there is no need to use OEM parts from original gearbox.

It is offered with casted or billet cases. Gears and components of shifting mechanism are REM superfinished.
