Due to the high level of inquiries received about our earlier version of the Subaru H-pattern kit (800Nm), we are releasing this SHD UPGRADED (up to 1200Nm) version again with the latest advanced technologies used in our products!

Subaru dog box kits for racing purposes! 
 
Using the standard Subaru gearbox housing, the H-pattern SHD kit is designed for the racer looking to have a quick shifts and keeping budget in mind. Kit is supplied in assembly position for easy installation into the gearbox. No modification required!
 

In the kit are shafts fitted with all gears, hubs, bearings, all billet selector rods and selector forks and all other billet shifting mechanism parts. No stock shifting mechanism is used because with our kits is supplied complete shifting mechanism which is much more reliable and stronger than in stock gearboxes.

All parts are REM isotropic superfinished.

Our kits also come with parts of the shifting mechanism that are more reliable and stronger than those found in stock, or competitor's gearboxes. Reinforced pars are based on extensive fatigue testing of serial components.

Complete, ready to install gearboxes

We at X Shift offer installation of H-pattern DOGBOX kits into your original gearboxes.

This service includes:

  • Cleaning (sandblasting or aquablasting) of casings and inspection of all parts 
  • Front differential check and adjustment 
  • Setting teeth clearance of final hypoid drive
  • Installation of the DOGBOX kit 
  • Check/repair DCCD center differential
  • Check/change drop gears condition
  • Check of gearbox wiring harness
  • Possibly replacement of necessary OEM parts 

 

Note: The reward for this service is the delivery of your own OEM TY856 gearbox in the best and most complete condition. Non-standard parts can be ordered upon agreement. The gearbox is sent back in a cushioned tailor-made box along with the original OEM parts. 

Occasionally we are also able to source a 6MT donor gearbox, intended for rebuild purposes.
