RWD Plugs kit Subaru STi

An easy and simple way to plug the holes in the TY856 gearbox when converting it for an RWD application.

Specification

RWD Plugs are the simplest way to blind all holes of your Subaru WRX STi TY856 6-speed gearbox with rear-wheel drive mod. The kit blocks the front axle outputs and DCCD wiring, allowing 100% oil and dust resistance. It is the ideal solution for drift cars, RWD gearbox conversions or 2WD chassis dyno testing. Installation is quick and can be completed without removing the front differential.

CNC RWD 2x plugs for the front axle shaft openings
CNC DCCD wiring plug
CNC Reverse lock system blind (optional installation - only for sequential)
All necessary o-rings and bolts for plugs

Compatible with RWD Spools

For high-power applications, we strongly recommend combining the RWD Plugs with X Shift RWD Spools and SHD Drop Gears.

In an RWD configuration, all engine torque is transmitted through the drop gears, resulting in approximately twice the load compared to the original AWD drivetrain. For customers looking for a fully mechanical centre differential replacement, the kit can also be combined with the optional X Shift RWD Spool.
